J Fitz Coin and Currency Shows

Jim Fitzgerald began promoting Coin and Currency shows in 1998 in the Dallas / Fort Worth area, working with the local coin clubs as well as the Texas Numismatic Association. Jim has held shows in Amarillo, Austin, Fort Worth, Lubbock, Midland, San Marcos, Taylor and Wichita Falls.

Jim is also available for consultation for any club or organization looking to start promoting a show in their respective area.

The shows allow the public the opportunity to buy, sell, and trade with multiple dealers from all over the country - especially the ability to get multiple offers for anything they are wanting to sell - all under one roof.

Expect to see dealers carrying various inventory of material such as US and World Coins, US and World Paper Money, Bullion such as Gold, Silver, or Platinum, Jewelry, Watches, as well as Books and Supplies.

Post cards are typically mailed two weeks prior to the show date, with emails going out the week prior.

Jim is a member of the ANA (American Numismatic Association), TNA (Texas Numismatic Association), GNA (Georgia Numismatic Association), FUN (Florida United Numismatists), SPMC (Society of Paper Money Collectors), and a past President of the PCDA (Professional Currency Dealers Association), while also serving as a board member for eight years.
